Helping Children Through National Adoption Month Celebrations/Recognitions

November is National Adoption Month. One Church One Child of Florida is asking Pastors and Church Members through-out the state to join efforts to celebrate families who have adopted and to recognize the children who are still waiting in the foster care system with no family identified to adopt them.

You can help do something about the 700 children who are waiting on any given day for a family to open their hearts and homes to provide them with a permanent or forever home and family to call their own. Will you be that family or do you know someone who can be that family.

Help One Church One Child to spread the word that the Village is needed to make a difference for these children; children need to know that HOPE is alive and that there are folks who will stand in the gap and rise to the occasion of becoming an adoptive or permanent parent, a foster or temporary parent or a mentor for a child.

Let's make November a raging success in having record numbers of families responding to the call to take action for a child or sibling group of children. Make the announcement that there are children waiting including males and females who range from young to seventeen and a half years of age, many of them are members of sibling groups. They need to be connected with a family, to belong, as God intended from the beginning of time.
